Set against the stunning backdrop of Glenstone Gardens in Aldie, VA, The Scout Guide Vol. 10 Launch Party was a masterclass in opulence. Vintage rentals and sparkling chandeliers transformed the estate into a gilded dream, while lush, roaming garden installations wove through the space, creating an atmosphere of grandeur and romance. Guests arrived in their Hunt Country best—draped in jewels and furs, ready to celebrate in true style. Despite the crisp evening air, the warm amber and blush Pantone enveloped the space, casting a golden glow over the festivities. Gilded desserts shimmered under candlelight, and a live swing band set the tone for an evening of revelry, bringing energy and elegance in equal measure. The night was nothing short of spectacular—a true homage to luxury, style, and the vibrant community The Scout Guide celebrates.

Inspired by the sophistication of Chic Madison Avenue, this monochromatic black-and-white affair seamlessly blended high fashion with the subtle allure of pearls. Set within a modern garden-style tent, in the middle of the luxurious 1000-acre Glenstone Estate, guests entered through an airy space featuring sleek black lines, a white-washed floor, and a magnificent fluffy white tree by Holly Chapple.
A striking black oval bar, adorned with House of Pearl’s signature HP monogram, served the event’s signature cocktail—the Black Pearl. Overhead, suspended black orbs added an air of mystery and refinement. The bride stunned in a sleek Eva Lendel gown from Love Couture Bridal, accented with pearl-studded details, while the groom embodied classic sophistication in a black tuxedo with satin lapels and velvet loafers.

Brooke and Jonathan’s wedding blended bohemian vibes with rustic country charm, set on their private family estate. With their young son in tow, they desired an intimate, joyful celebration with a touch of rural elegance. The design featured a stunning canvas-top tent with exposed wood beams. Lush florals in vibrant oranges, greens, and pinks created a warm, fall-inspired palette with a feminine touch. Custom antler chandeliers added country charm, while personalized leather napkin rings and custom menu cards elevated the experience.
A highlight of the evening was Brooke and Jonathan’s connection to Nashville country music star, Tristan Marez. His live performance added a personal, celebrity touch, as guests danced under the string lights. From the florals to the music, every detail captured Brooke and Jonathan’s love, family, and their shared life journey.

A fearless exploration of design and elevated event artistry, this visionary wedding concept fused fashion and interior design. Drawing inspiration from Beyoncé’s latest album (our bride's favorite song), Terry Kaye and Jessica Ashley used a bold mix of modern sophistication and classic equestrian charm in the design, playing with pattern, texture, and unexpected elements. The textural, tonal, and organic florals balanced structure with whimsy to redefine traditional bridal arrangements. A sleek, minimalist cake provided contrast, while custom drapery and table runners blended masculine and feminine elements with ease. The focal bar, wrapped in custom artwork and set against a high-end restaurant-inspired backdrop, was a stunning statement piece. Modern art and vintage Ralph Lauren touches throughout added depth, while an intricate floor plan featured a dynamic mix of table shapes and five different chair styles: a nod to interior design.

Terry & Jessica transformed Glenstone Gardens into a Summer Dreamland in the heart of Hunt Country, VA. The bride made a statement in a stunning blue gown, standing out beautifully against bold, vibrant fuchsia bougainvillea. The ceremony took place under a breathtaking illusion arch crafted by Holly Chapple, perfectly placed on a hillside overlooking the estate’s lush gardens. Guests were greeted with citrus-infused fruit water and elegant parasols, offering a refreshing touch in the summer heat.
As lovers of nature and water, the couple embraced a romantic rowboat moment among the lily pads, creating the most breathtaking portraits. The tablescape tied the vision together seamlessly, featuring pale blue block-print linens, rattan chargers, bamboo flatware, and fuchsia tassels, echoing the vibrant florals. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and David Abel captured the magic flawlessly—a true dreamscape brought to life.

Katie and Christian’s wedding at Middleburg Barn was the epitome of rustic opulence, a thoughtfully curated celebration designed in close collaboration with the bride’s mother, Dana. She envisioned the perfect day for her daughter and future son-in-law, filled with icy blue bridesmaids' gowns, an abundance of flowers, and subtle nods to their love of the ocean.
Every detail was layered with intention—rich fabrics, textured linens, elegant china, delicate glassware, and candlelight, creating unique tablescapes that felt both lavish and inviting. Holly Chapple brought the floral magic, transforming the barn with thousands of blooms in gold vessels, soft whites, blush tones, and lush greenery. To honor the couple’s love of the beach, a raw bar was incorporated, adding a refined coastal touch. Guests were left in awe of the sheer abundance and beauty, making this wedding an unforgettable fusion of elegance and warmth.

The Scout Guide Vol. 11 Launch Party—"La Vie En Rouge"—was a night of pure Parisian enchantment, set at the newly transformed The Manor 1858, an old bank barn turned cabaret. Planning for The Scout Guide Hunt Country has been an absolute privilege, allowing me to lean into themes and push creative boundaries—every designer’s dream.
For this celebration, I brought Parisian nights to Virginia, draping the space in rich wine-colored fabric by Voile and Veil, while dramatic uplighting turned the barn into a sultry cabaret. A live Parisian band set the mood as guests, dressed in feathers and pearls, sipped passed champagne and hors d’oeuvres. The surprises continued downstairs, where a speakeasy-style lounge and bourbon tastings transported guests into another era. It was a night of drama, decadence, and unforgettable revelry—one of my favorite events to date!

Working with Jenny and Mike was an absolute joy, and their deep appreciation and respect for their vendor team was the icing on the cake. Jenny had a bold, vibrant vision—she wasn’t afraid to take risks, incorporating large patterns and whimsical florals that made the design truly unforgettable. Leaning into her Pantone, we stayed within a spring-inspired palette but layered textures and patterns to create something uniquely special.
Their love for their two pups made us adore them even more, so naturally, their furry companions had a special role, walking down the aisle in style. As a nod to their shared careers in the medical field, we designed a custom escort wall featuring each guest’s personalized RX/seat number—a fun and creative tribute to their profession. Every detail of this wedding reflected who they are, what they love, and the joy they bring to those around them—making it a celebration to remember!
